Academic rigour is central to the 360 Programme at Oxford High School.

The Academics programme includes a personalised timetable built around your choice of subjects. There are no rigid blocks or limits to the subjects you choose at Oxford High because we want to nurture your love of learning in the subjects that interest you. Currently, there are 27 A Level subjects on offer for you to choose from.

You decide, we build the timetable.

Complementing your A Levels is the Extended Research Project. This is an opportunity for in-depth study of a chosen topic and offers you the chance to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, independent learning and initiative – all skills which are highly valued by leading universities in the UK and abroad.  You can choose whatever area intrigues you to investigate.  Recent topics have included the toxicity of snake venom, dance and social change in the 1960s, China’s One Child Policy, laughter and health, Moll Flanders, graphene, censorship in Russian literature and meteorites.
