The Sixth Form is a natural point of entry to OHS. Every year we welcome girls into Year 12 from both maintained and independent schools and from across the UK and abroad. Our class sizes will vary according to the A-Level subjects you choose. Typically, our class sizes range from 2 to 14 students.
Our Sixth Form tutor groups are vertical so that Years 12 and 13 can mix together and benefit from a collegiate atmosphere. Our Sixth Formers enjoy a campus lifestyle, dressing like undergraduates rather than board-members and studying together in a relaxed, collegiate atmosphere. The neighbourhood of Summertown sits right on our doorstep, offering freedom and independence to our older students. Life and study in the Sixth Form are organised through our Sixth Form Programme, developed exclusively by Oxford High School to create the women leaders of tomorrow.
If that wasn’t enough, OHS Sixth Formers also benefit from being based in the Ada Benson Building, a brand new centre for Sixth Form and art opened in 2020. This cool and contemporary building reflects OHS’s reputation and philosophy as a leading educator of girls.
