On the Thursday 19th October, five students from the Climate Justice Club, Dr Chorley and Dr Kewell headed to Birmingham for the Schools Climate Assembly.
We heard from incredible speakers like Chris Packham and Hamza Yassin on a wide range of climate issues. We also took part in amazing workshops which helped us come up with ideas to reduce our school’s emissions.
There were lots of stalls run by different climate charities and businesses which were really interesting and insightful to look at. We really enjoyed our day learning more about climate change, which we can apply in lessons and everyday life.
