She also deals with school exclusions and has experience of cases involving Special Educational Needs as well as of representing higher education students in internal disciplinary cases. In addition, Asma volunteers for Rights of Women and has volunteered for Haringey Migrant Support Centre.

In 2018, Asma won a ProBono award at the Lexis Nexis Legal Awards 2018 alongside her colleague Sophie Walker for their incredible work on the Refugee Legal Support Athens project. For this and all the above, she is a very worthy addition to the OHS Originals.
