As part of our fantastic PSHCE provision, the charity Our Streets Now delivered an informative talk for many of our students.
Our Streets Now started as a youth-led movement to end public sexual harassment in the UK through cultural and legislative change. Over the last few years, the organisation expanded as the movement grew. Their talk aimed to equip students with the skills and confidence to challenge harassment, oppression and prejudice, and to empathise with those who experience it.
Our Streets Now are doing amazing things, raising awareness of public sexual harassment and the impact it can have on so many. It was fantastic for our year 10 and 11 students to have the opportunity to discuss issues that are relevant to them and those around them and we look forward to continuing working with this organisation in the future.
