94.5% of the girls’ results were A*/A -an increase of 4% from 2014 = ‘Best ever year!’
68% of results were A*, 99% of results were A*-B, 62% girls with 10 or more A*/A, 20% girls 100% A*, 80% girls have 5 or more A*, 95% Science results are A*/A, 94% Maths results are A*/A, 91% English Language results, 98% History results are A*/A, 99% English Literature results are A*/A, 100% A* in Mandarin and Design Technology, 100% A*/A in Russian, Spanish, Drama and Textiles
Our results for STEM subjects (95% Science and 94% Maths A*/A) are matched by creative and linguistic success (History, English, DT/Textiles, Mandarin, Russian and Spanish). The breadth of subjects these girls’ achieve in is huge.
Head of Oxford High School, Judith Carlisle, said: “I’m delighted. We have increased our success rate at A*/A by 4% to 94.5% -our best ever year by a long way!
As with our A Level results last week, what is striking about Oxford High girls is their ability to study a wide range of subjects and triumph in them all. These girls can look forward to the excitement and challenges of Sixth Form life with huge confidence.
