Now that we have successfully conquered ‘Foundation Fortnight’, the Music Department are delighted to welcome back our visiting Music teachers into school this week as individual music lessons recommence.
They have been surrounded by hand sanitiser, sterilising wipes and perspex screens, but apart from this it has felt like a major step towards normality, as the strains of musical instruments fill the department again.
We are also pleased to present one final video from our ‘Virtual Sheldonian Concert’ that took place back in March by the Percussion Ensemble, directed by Keith Fairbairn, and featuring a couple of not very well concealed members of staff who were standing in for absent players. There will be more online performances as the term progresses.
