In addition, Year 3 took part in our annual Singing Day at the Dragon School; KS1 performed their Summer Concert; Training Orchestra played in assembly; Year 6 performed “Bugsy Malone” and our Summer Concert included our senior ensembles and all of Year 5 and 6! Just in the last week of term, the Chamber Choir sang at the National Festival of Music for Youth, proudly wearing their new t-shirts. Later they attended a workshop with other schools led by a National Schools Choir Leader. Our last musical event took place with Dr. Shayan Meysami giving a demonstration on the Persian tombak drum followed by Year 6 having a masterclass on basic technique.
