Yesterday, it was Kaleidoscope Day here at OHS, and each year group enjoyed a different programme or activity, either within school or off-site.
Year 7 and 8 headed off bright and early on trips to Hampton Court Palace and Rushall Farm respectively, and the students had a fantastic time on what was a lovely, sunny day. Back at OHS, Year 9 enjoyed a film challenge day with One Day Film Schools, which involved attending sessions on screenwriting, camera and editing, before the students made their own short films. Year 10 participated in a Careers Day, during which they heard from numerous professionals from different industries, as well as taking on various challenges designed to build skills for the future. Finally, Year 12 enjoyed a ‘Pathways into Higher Education’ day, which featured a number of sessions designed to inform and support the students as they consider life after OHS.
What a fantastic day it was! Huge thanks to all of our students and staff who were involved.
