Five linguists from Years 12 and 13 took part in this year’s translating competition Juvenes Translatores. This year’s theme was the European Year for Development, and the winners will be announced in February 2016. Whilst they wait in anticipation, the girls have smart Juvenes Translatores T-shirts, and the satisfaction of knowing they have pitted their translating wits against their peers in every country of the European Union! Well done to Madeleine, Natasha, Sophia, Olivia, Pippa and Tiyash.
