All of Year 5 and Year 6 took part in the summer concert last week, with a few younger girls joining us for the wind ensemble. The Year 5 choir, Year 6 choir, senior orchestra, chamber choir, wind ensemble, Vivaldi Strings and the clarinet group all delighted us with their performances of everything from traditional folk songs, Argentinian Tango and Star Wars to Handel and the Bee Gees, before the massed choirs of Year 5 and Year 6 ended the concert with powerful renditions of the “Fight song” by Rachel Platten and Lin Marsh’s “Believe”. Scarcely a dry eye in the house! Congratulations especially to our talented Year 6, for whom this marked their last Junior School concert.
