Gabby in Year 9 has won the Bronze Medal in the National Japanese Speaking Competition Nihongo Cup. As a finalist out of 200 entrants from 25 schools nationwide, Gabby presented her speech to an audience of 150 people and judges at Conway Hall, London. Gabby won a medal along with an electronic translator and Japanese reading books from the sponsors. She has her sights on the senior competition in four years’ time when the top prize is a trip to Japan!
