The inaugural House Mastermind competition took place on 24th June, with four contenders taking to the infamous Black Chair to represent their House. The lights were dimmed as each contender faced questions from quizmaster, Mr South.
With Siri and Jaci leading on points at the halfway stage, answering questions on their specialist subjects: Roald Dahl Books and The Gilmore Girls, Anisha jumped ahead into the lead after the second round of general knowledge questions to win 60 points for her House, Athena.
It was a closely-fought competition with only five points between the winning score and the contestant who came fourth. Congratulations to all they year 7 and 9 students who took part and bravely put themselves in the spotlight:
Jemima, who answered questions on European Countries and Capitals, Jaci who answered on The Gilmore Girls, Anisha who answered on the Human Body and to Siri whose specialist subject was Roald Dahl Books.
