To celebrate Women’s History Month and round off the Spring term, this Wednesday’s Film Club had its first full-length feature film screening of Misbehaviour (2020), organised by Martha (Year 13) and Miss Brooks.
This inspirational film highlights the formation of the Women’s Liberation Front and the subsequent protests around the 1970 Miss World Pageant in London.
Thanks to the new facilities offered in the Dame Pippa Harris Auditorium, the event was a real treat to all Year 12 & 13 students who have been missing the big screen experience, especially as this film was originally released just a week before the UK’s first official lockdown.
