Oxford High School’s Extended Research Project (ERP) Evening was a showcase of curiosity, ambition and intellectual exploration. Students presented their in-depth projects to an engaged audience of peers, teachers and parents on the evening of Tuesday 4th February. The evening provided an opportunity for students to share their findings on a diverse range of topics, demonstrating not only their research skills but also their ability to think critically and present with confidence.
This year, we were delighted to see Isabel, Aarya, Rosemarie, Africa, Amalie, Keira, Claudia, Emma, Maria and Chloe delivering insightful posters and presentations on subjects they have studied in great depth. Their projects reflected their individual passions, covering areas from science and history to literature, politics and the arts. Whether investigating ethical dilemmas, scientific discoveries or social trends, each student demonstrated a remarkable ability to engage with complex ideas and communicate their findings with clarity.
Beyond those who presented on the night, we are incredibly proud of all our ERP participants, who have worked tirelessly to research, refine and articulate their ideas. Completing an Extended Research Project is no small feat – it requires perseverance, intellectual curiosity and a willingness to challenge oneself.
The ERP Evening is an important milestone in the academic journey of our Sixth Formers, providing a platform to develop essential skills that will benefit them at university and beyond. As always, we were inspired by their dedication and enthusiasm, and we look forward to seeing how their research continues to shape their academic and personal growth.
