We were thrilled to welcome Dr. Tim Mawson, a Fellow in Philosophy at St Peter’s College, University of Oxford, to give a talk on Immanuel Kant’s moral philosophy. Dr. Mawson provided an engaging and insightful presentation, delving into Kant’s ideas in a way that sparked curiosity and reflection among our Year 8 students. His talk gave them a deeper understanding of Kant’s ethical theories, enriching the current topic they are studying.
What made the session particularly special was the interactive question and answer segment. Dr. Mawson encouraged students to explore the complexities of Kant’s philosophy, offering clear explanations and sparking thoughtful discussions.
