Our Year 12 and 13 Psychologists were thrilled to attend Psychology in Action’s Power of the Mind conference in London on 3rd December.
Comprising five incredibly engaging sessions by renowned speakers from the fields of academia, medicine, industry and commerce, the day provided a comprehensive insight into the theories and applications of psychology in the modern world. Some particular highlights for students included sessions on ‘Mastering Memory’ and ‘There’s An Eyeball In My Soup!’ (which gave a first-hand look at forensic psychiatry in the NHS and beyond).
The students had an amazing, fun-filled day, packed with useful subject knowledge, insights into various Psychology-related facts and research, before they ended the day by dancing their way through the final session on ‘Dance and the Brain’.
