Elizaveta Sheremetyeva has continued to add to her already impressive achievements in Chess by coming first at the Oxfordshire Chess Association Junior Chess Tournament in the Under 18 section. This is a mixed section for boys and girls and Elizaveta excelled not just with her winning score of 6/6 but also because she is still only 16 years old.
Elizaveta was awarded a rather wonderful trophy (pictured below) that was previously given to a famous Oxford High School alumna, Harriet Hunt. Dr Hills expressed his delight at the continued tradition of OHS champions of chess!
