Yesterday, there was a real buzz of excitement in the air as students throughout the school made their way over to the tennis courts for the much-anticipated Clubs Fair. A gateway to the exciting world of co-curricular clubs and activities at OHS, the event was a hive of conversation and curiosity as students explored the dizzying array of opportunities available to them.
It was wonderful to see so many pupils in attendance, from Year 7s eager to participate in their very first clubs at OHS to older pupils considering trying something new this year. Many of the stalls were manned by the students themselves and they were truly excellent advocates for their clubs and activities.
With nearly 100 clubs available this term, from Robotics, French Music and Zumba to Biodiversity, Animation and Debating, there really is something for every OHS student.
Thank you to everyone involved in the organisation and running of the event. Thanks also go to our wonderful students for demonstrating their usual enthusiasm, spirit and desire to go beyond.
