Children’s Mental Health Week

14 February 2025

We’ve had an incredible line up for our Children’s Mental Health week.

The week was led by our big sisters in the Senior School. We had some of the Year 10 students leading PSHE lessons and assemblies and we had Year 8 students teaching games at lunchtime. This all coincides with our Peer Mentoring Scheme with the older students giving the younger girls a more relatable mentor closer to their age as well as a teacher.

Our Peer Mentors don’t just stop at the senior school – some of our Year 6s have now completed their Peer Mentor training and will shortly receive their qualification certificate through the Children’s University – A MASSIVE Congratulations to Anna, Eliza, Rebecca, Frances, Emmeline, Ella W, Olivia, Gaia, Emi and Valerie! They have been learning about emotions, body language, mental health, questioning and active listening and are ready to offer support and friendship to our younger pupils..
