On Monday 8th July 2024, we celebrated our students’ achievements and services to school life in a special assembly. We were treated to fantastic musical performances from Lily, Eylul, Funkem Maximam, and the Lower School Choir. Charlotte, in year 8, gave a fantastic speech as part of the Speak Up competition and Chelsea, in ear 10, shared a brilliant lyrical dance solo.
Our guest of honour, Louise Ansell (class of 1988), distributed awards and gave a brilliant speech on her favourite memories, what she learnt at OHS and the friends she still has today! Louise read Classics and English at Oxford, and then qualified as a barrister, practising family law. Louise is a specialist in financial cases. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and sits as an arbitrator for financial cases on family breakdown.
