Cathy Cassidy visited Oxford High this week to talk about the inspiration behind her books and how she develops her storylines. Daydreaming is an important part of the process and helps the stories evolve. She firmly believes that every school should have daydreaming classes on its timetable! Cathy was on a promotional tour for her new books Looking Glass Girl (inspired by Alice Through the Looking Glass), The Chocolate Box Secrets (a book full of creative projects) and Fortune Cookie (the last book in the Chocolate Box Girls series). Year 5 and Year 6 girls also had the opportunity to purchase her books with a personalised message from Cathy.
