Creativity, confidence, and cupcakes — what more could you want from a school project?
This year, our brilliant Year 2s worked towards their Arts Award Discover, exploring the world through music, movement, and imagination. From drawing what they heard in In the Hall of the Mountain King, to sewing, dancing, and even composing music for their own puppet show of Peter and the Wolf (yes, they made the puppets too!) — these children dove headfirst into creative expression.
They also researched real-life creatives and shared what they learned with their peers — all topped off with some very well-earned cupcake decorating to celebrate.
