Emily (Year 12) for remarkable results in squash, coming in the top 40 individuals of the World Championships and Sixth in teams As we speak you are currently representing England in the USA Squash Open!
A Head’s Award is given to Chloe (Year 13) for her inspirational and sensitive assembly about the work of the Little Princess Trust. It was extremely powerful and the non-uniform day raised over £630, which is both tremendous and testament to your thoughtful planning of the assembly and event. Well done! Chloe also entered the national Shoe Box Theatre competition run by We Teach Drama. From hundreds of entries, Chloe’s design for ‘A Raisin In The Sun’ was awarded first Special Commendation. Well done!
Chellisha (Year 11) was first responder at a medical emergency during an extra-curricular activity in school. Chellisha is highly commended for her calm approach and her expert delivery of initial emergency first aid.

A Head’s Award is given to Ines (Year 13) and Catherine (Year 13) in recognition of your commitment to the ‘We are One’ project with Year 6 students at the Prep School. In your role as a Year 12 Geography Mentor you have thoughtfully guided students, listened to ideas, given constructive feedback and collaborated effectively to support them with their work on their projects. Well done!
Many congratulations to Aarya (Year 13) on the first issue of compLEX, a GDST-wide student-led magazine to explore issues to do with Law. Aarya has founded this magazine, publicised it and worked with students across the GDST to produce a really scholarly first edition.
Well done to Tessa (Year 13), Africa (Year 13), Hannah (Year 13), Eleanor (Year 13) and Ally (Year 13). They receive a Head’s award in recognition of outstanding contribution to drama and musical theatre, not just in Y13, but over the course of their entire school career in numerous extra-curricular productions.
Ilaria (Year 12) designed this year’s school Christmas card. Her contribution not only showcased her talent but also helped bring the festive spirit to our school community.
On 3rd December, our Head Girl, Maya and the youngest girl in the Senior school, Teresa visited Helen Jones, former deputy head of OHS, on her 100th birthday! Their thoughtful conversations and engagement reflected the values we uphold as a school community. We have no doubt you both left a wonderful impression on Helen and her family.

Yolanda (Year 11) and Hannah (Year 10) win a Head’s Award in recognition of receiving a Certificate of Merit, the highest level, in the Andrew Jobbings Senior Kangaroo, which is normally only taken by students in the 6th form.
Congratulations to Teresa (Year 13) and Tanya (Year 13) on reaching the semi-final of the Oxfordshire Junior Concerto Competition, and performing extremely well. You brought credit on yourselves in an extremely high standard of competition.
Maria Clara (Year 9) performed in the Under 14 TEN PRO International Tennis Tournament held last month at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor. This was her best tournament performance so far. She competed against players from a variety of countries, all at a very high level of tennis. Maria Clara made it to the finals and finished as the runner-up. She played with great consistency and reached her highest level of technical and tactical skill throughout the tournament. Congratulations.
Evie (Year 10) was awarded First in the ‘Best Speaker’ category in the South Hampstead Winter Debating. She competed against 110 other speakers from schools across the UK. Well done, Evie!
Olivia (Year 12) has shown great dedication to the Debate Club. She helps with sessions twice a week, supporting younger students and helping wherever she can.
Rose (Year 12) receives a Head’s Award for coming runner up in October’s Inversity competition, where Rose designed the concept and coded an outline for an app to help engage young people in the news. She won £200 and a trip to the FT offices in London.
