A group of staff at Oxford High School are doing their bit to fundraise for local charities by participating in the Oxford Town and Gown 10K and Blenheim Triathlon this summer. They are running, cycling and swimming in aid of Year 8’s chosen charity, Thinking of Oscar.
To being, a team of 10 staff running the Town and Gown around the streets of Oxford on Sunday 12th May. Then on Sunday 2nd June, two staff teams will enter the Blenheim Triathlon competing in the Sprint team relay. Some of the staff involved have never taken part in competitive events before and some have not run, cycled or swum in a while so please consider sponsoring via the button below:
Our staff love to do their bit and show the students how important raising awareness of local charities and fundraising is. Thinking of Oscar is a fabulous local charity that was set up by one of Oxford High School’s families following the death of their son, Oscar, nearly 10 years ago. Thinking of Oscar supports children and their families whilst in hospital care by funding projects and innovation over and above that supplied by the UK’s National Health Service.
