Our Quiz teams have played several exciting matches as part of the School’s Challenge, a national general knowledge competition for schools in the UK.
The Junior Team, featuring Jemima B, Nadya L, Sophia R and Siri S, contested a close match against King’s School, Rochester. The Middle Years team, consisting of Flora C, Anisha K, Mahtab M and Emma L, narrowly lost to King Edward’s Camp Hill Boys, Birmingham. The senior team, with Amy W, Clara S, Kimia P and Rose N, won a thrilling match against Sacred Heart, Newry, and are now through to the second round.
Each team showcased not only their academic acumen but also their ability to work seamlessly as a unit. Every team member brought a unique set of skills to the table, contributing to their overall success. One of the standout features within each of our teams was their impeccable teamwork and collaboration. In a competition where every point matters, effective communication and trust among team members are paramount. The students demonstrated their ability to complement each other’s strengths, creating a synergy which propelled them through the rounds.
The School’s Challenge provided our students an opportunity to shine on a national stage, proving that their intellectual prowess extends beyond the classroom. The event not only bolstered their confidence but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among each team.
