Our Sixth Form students have once again created a national conference programme this Autumn.
The virtual conferences cover a series of events mainly themed on economic and political subjects both locally and globally. The students have invited guest speakers, from professors, journalists and authors, who are experts in their respective subject fields to present to their audiences and offer a live Q&A session, all hosted and managed by our pupils.
The series covers topics on themes such as Fashion, Medicine, Economics and current affairs such the situation in Ukraine. Our pupils have recruited schools to register for the events ensuring thousands of pupils within the GDST Group and beyond also benefit from this academic initiative. More updates on this series will follow, however the work undertaken by number of our pupils has been recognised by a Head’s awards, and this week awards have been presented to Cherry, Shira, Harisika, Hazel, Flora, Tatiana, Georgina and Georgia.
