The school’s aim is to encourage its pupils to be resilient, unafraid of challenge and willing to question, so that they become curious, aspirational and self-assured. It intends to nurture pupils’ individual strengths and academic potential within a friendly and down to earth environment which offers intellectual challenge and values creativity.
In March 2023, a team of seven ISI inspectors visited Oxford High School, observing lessons, meeting pupils, staff and governors, looking at work, observing extra-curricular activities and attending assemblies. Inspectors also visited the facilities for the younger pupils, together with the learning support and educational resource areas. We are delighted to report that the school was regarded as ‘Excellent’ in all criteria, ISI’s highest result, across the whole school. All regulatory requirements under the Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014 were also fully met. You can download the report in full.
