This is an exciting opportunity to use your first class organisational and administrative skills to play a key HR role in a renowned and well-regarded school. Oxford High School is a member of the Girls’ Day School Trust, the largest provider of independent education in the UK. HR policies are provided by the GDST who also offer all necessary specialist HR advice and guidance to the school.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, this key role will provide administrative HR support from recruitment, induction and employee life cycle, liaising with GDST payroll department, training and assisting with the first line HR enquiries. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team as well as with teachers, administrative staff, external agencies and applicants, this role requires the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Knowledge and experience within an HR function would be essential and experience of a school setting desirable. We are looking for an expert administrator and coordinator who is able to balance conflicting priorities and who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
