We are seeking a well organised Receptionist to provide a customer-focused and efficient reception service at the School.
You will present a welcoming and professional image to all visitors, students, contractors, staff and telephone callers as well as assist in providing a general administrative service.
You will need a level of ICT competence to meet the demands of the role, along with knowledge of Microsoft Office, good communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.

Teacher of German / French

Applications are invited for a well-qualified and enthusiastic part-time teacher of German and French up to GCSE level, with effect from September 2018. The Modern Foreign Language (MFL) faculty promotes the teaching of six foreign languages including Russian, German, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, French and Spanish.
French is taught as a compulsory subject in Year 7 and as an optional subject from Year 8 and German is taught as an optional subject from Year 8, so we are keen to find a teacher who will motivate our pupils to continue with French in Year 8, and with German in Year 9 and beyond.
The students are keen and motivated and enjoy extra-curricular activities such as clubs, lectures, language days and a residential home stay/exchange in France and Germany. The Modern Languages Faculty comprises ten teachers who add an international flavour to the Oxford High staff and are most welcoming and supportive.

Grounds Person / Assistant Caretaker
Full time, all year round
Salary: GDST Grade 2 £16,380-£19,302 depending on skills and experience

This is an opportunity for a motivated individual with grounds maintenance and basic building maintenance skills to support our busy Premises Team across three school sites.
As a Grounds Person, your duties will include maintaining sports pitches, ensuring they are marked, set up for matches, cleared from litter, grass is cut and all posts are painted accordingly. You will also schedule testing and maintenance of the grounds maintenance equipment and provide support to any contractors working on site.
Your caretaking duties will include supporting the Caretaker and Premises Manager with ensuring that the whole school site is maintained to an exceptional standard. This will include property maintenance, ensuring a tidy appearance of the schools and assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of the premises and furnishings.
You will need experience of line marking on pitches and using gardening machinery along with experience of mowing, trimming and hedge cutting, as well as basic caretaking/manual handling skills along with a valid driving licence to travel between sites.
This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week Monday to Friday, however a degree of flexibility is required as occasional weekend and overtime work will be necessary to accommodate the busy school calendar.

Oxford High School seeks an experienced and proactive development professional to lead on securing major gift income for capital campaigns and to ensure that stewardship programmes are in place to maximise income and engagement from existing supporters.
You will have proven experience in project management and a significant track record of professional achievement in fundraising is essential. The successful candidate should have experience in major gift fundraising and in managing senior volunteers.
Key to the role will be exceptional public speaking and presentation skills the ability to communicate effectively in writing and an ability to respond appropriately to pressure, deadlines, and changes in priorities and schedules.
