Our Rebellious Roots

We channel creativity and originality into purposeful action. Inspired by the rebellious roots of the GDST, we empower students to challenge norms and lead with courage.

Founded with a spirit of defiance, the beginnings of the Girls’ Day School Trust were a bold demonstration of Harnessed Rebellion. When an academic education was available only to men, it was the four founders of the GDST that fought for the rights of young women. And won.
