Curious Minds, Limitless Thinking

At Oxford High School GDST, we believe that learning is not a race to the top, it’s a journey of discovery, challenge and growth that should never be confined.
Not by convention. Not by curriculum. And certainly not by fear.

Limitless Learning

Our Senior School curriculum is built on the principle of limitless learning and is designed to stretch minds, spark ideas and build the confidence to think independently and act with purpose. We don’t just teach subjects, we ignite passions, provoke questions, and empower students to think critically, creatively, and courageously.

From Year 7 to Year 11, our students are immersed in a curriculum that challenges them to explore widely, question deeply, and grow steadily. Whether they’re decoding ancient texts, designing sustainable cities, or debating global ethics, they’re not just preparing for exams, they’re preparing for life.

Powered by Curiosity, Driven by Excellence

Key Stage 3

Our Key Stage 3 curriculum lays the groundwork for fearless learning. Across Years 7 to 9, students explore a broad, intellectually stimulating programme that stretches their thinking and sparks curiosity across the sciences, humanities, languages, technology, and the arts.

Girls are encouraged to question, collaborate and challenge themselves in a dynamic environment designed for ambitious learners. From the start, they’re immersed in specialist teaching that builds confidence and independence.

We are preparing them not just for GCSEs, but for a lifetime of discovery.

Supporting Ambition and Individuality

Key Stage 4: GCSE Curriculum

In Years 10 and 11, pupils begin to shape their own academic journey through a carefully structured but flexible GCSE programme. With core subjects including English Language, English Literature, Mathematics and Science (either Double or Triple Award) students are then able to choose from an exciting and extensive range of options across all disciplines.

Whether they pursue Latin or Computer Science, Drama or Spanish, our pupils benefit from expert teaching, small class sizes and personalised guidance that supports them to aim high and achieve exceptional results. Our curriculum encourages depth, curiosity and confidence, paving the way for success in Sixth Form and beyond.
