Considering OHS?

WHERE NEXT?

CURRICULUM

It’s an exciting time to be a young person. Every student at Oxford High School is encouraged to reach her academic potential, to develop agility of thought and to find her own voice.

We see it as our job to ensure that, during her time with us, every girl is empowered with the support and encouragement to answer that call. By getting to know them well and supporting them both academically and pastorally, we discover how to harness those dreams and ideas so that, when she leaves, each girl feels ready to change the world so as to reflect her vision.

There are many ways in which we seek to enrich the quality of school life here at OHS – through our pastoral programme and PSHCE initiatives, by inviting fascinating guest speakers to talk about real, relevant issues, through team-building House activities such as our annual Colour Run, by weaving careers advice seamlessly into the curriculum from Year 7 onwards, or by charity initiatives such as ‘sponge the teacher’ events – the list goes on.
