RECEPTION

Everything a student does at Oxford High Prep School starts with the class unit. When a girl joins Oxford High, she is assigned to a class with whom she will spend the majority of her time. She will not only learn and work on projects but also play sports, learn musical instruments, embark on ambitious dramatic and artistic ventures and relax during breaks and lunchtime. Many of the friendships she forms here will last her a lifetime.

An OHS girl’s day to day learning is rooted in a culture of friendship and support.

School Life

Our friendly team are always on hand to answer your questions, arrange a personal visit or find you the ideal person with whom to speak about your daughter.

So don’t hesitate to get in touch – we really do love to hear from you.

Get In Touch

For a girl who is thoughtful, enthusiastic and curious, there is no better place to start her learning journey.

Prep School

Based in two large Edwardian buildings in leafy north Oxford, within easy walking distance of each other, Oxford High Prep School is proud to offer a personalised, positive and inspiring start to life at school.

We believe that the best way for a child to learn is through exploring the world around her with confidence and curiosity.

Our students are given the time and freedom to discover their strengths, their passions and the person they are becoming. Our classrooms and outdoor spaces are happy, nurturing environments that echo to the sound of laughter and inspiration, discovery and delight.

Learning In The Prep School

We encourage students to be fearless, to reach beyond their comfort zones and ask questions, to admit when they don’t understand something or take a risk.

Our teaching staff excel at creating engaging learning experiences to inspire and challenge, while our curriculum is tailored to develop life-long learners with the confidence to explore, develop and share their own interests.

Girls receive the right balance of support and freedom to think for themselves, thereby developing the resilience for all the challenges that await.
