We welcome girls to our Junior School in all year groups and in all terms, although our key entry points are Reception and Year Three. We would be delighted to welcome you and your daughter to visit our wonderful Junior School, so please do contact the Admissions team in order to arrange a visit.
Our EYFS team at Woodstock Road are specialists in early childhood education and how girls learn and develop. We pride ourselves on knowing your daughters as individuals and see our role as enthusing such young girls with a passion for learning via a play-based curriculum. Of course this includes the key building blocks of phonics and maths, but also discovering Mandarin and Science, with French taught from Year Two.
From Year Three, girls are based at Bardwell Road where we continue with our personalised approach to learning building on the strong platform from their EYFS and KS1 achievements. We add in more tailored teaching including structured Mandarin and Latin from Year Five and the majority of our girls go on to Oxford High Senior School, with Year Seven places confirmed to parents in Year Five.
Transfer from Junior to Senior School, and from Year 11 to the Sixth Form is anticipated.
Please do contact us on email@example.com or on 01865 318500 if you wish to discuss entry into any year group, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have.

Settling in to your new school
We believe it is crucial to ensure girls settle quickly and happily into their new surroundings. We aim to send out all relevant information to new parents well in advance and, once your place has been confirmed as accepted, we will invite you to come along to age-appropriate events or concerts in school so you can meet your future classmates or fellow parents. Buddy systems, parent handbooks and ‘getting to know you’ events are all part of the warm welcome we hope you will find when you join Oxford High School.
