Junior School Autumn Celebrations

19 October 2015

The whole Junior School, from Reception to Year 6, came together for our Autumn Celebration.  The overall theme of our celebration was looking after and sharing the world’s resources.

The Chamber Choir started off the celebration with a premier of “All things bright and Beautiful” by David Blackwell, composed especially for the choir.

Reception girls, who have only been in school for a few weeks, entertained us singing ‘Find a Bin’; Year 1 sang “Earth, Sea and Sky” and our Year 2 girls performed “One World”.

The whole school then sang songs from “One Sun One World” by Peter Rose and Ann Conlon, with different year groups leading some of the songs and with readings from Y6 girls. The girls sang with great clarity and expression; there were quite a few tears spotted in the audience!

Parents, family and staff showed their appreciation of the commitment and enthusiasm shown by the girls, with resounding applause, lots of smiles and plenty of praise.

Come and see for yourself

We are always happy to welcome you for a visit to our school, so that you can see for yourself how our girls learn, flourish and excel. Check for the next open morning or get in touch.
