With great sadness, the end of the school year saw us bade farewell to our much-loved Director of Sport, Sue Derrick. After many years teaching at Oxford High, Sue leaves behind a wealth of achievements as her legacy at OHS and she has inspired hundreds of girls to take up a new sport, to push themselves at Kilve, to follow their dream and to do their very best. Before she left, we asked all the alumnae who had been at OHS during Sue’s time to send in their memories. The ensuing Memory Book was crammed with anecdotes, tributes and praise for an inspiring leader in girls’ sporting education. Sue – we shall miss you and wish you well in your well-deserved retirement.

“Beth – I think you should try Triathlon”   “Ok I’ll give it a go, I guess?”

Five years on…
