What a record-breaking year! This year’s GCSE results show the highest recorded A*s at GCSE that Oxford High has ever achieved.

• Over 75% of grades were A*
• More than half of the year group achieved at least 9 grade A*s
• 30% of girls achieved straight A*s
• 94% gained A*-A grades

Dr Peter Secker, Acting Head of Oxford High School said “This year’s GCSE results confirm the findings of our most recent ISI inspection, which rated OHS as Exceptional, the only independent senior school in Oxford with this, the highest rating. I believe that this is testament to the exceptional teaching here at OHS combined with equally strong co-curricular and pastoral care. We are all elated for our committed and hard-working Year 11 students – the future is very bright for these remarkable young women.”

Following on from a successful A Level results day, over 80% of our university applicants secured places at Russell Group universities and 82% of our students achieved places at their first choice of university. Ad Lucem!
