Oxford High’s French Day is organised every year at school following a different theme. It could be poetry or French art or anything else relating to France. A French lunch is offered in the canteen and various activities take place during French lessons and at lunchtime. This year, we celebrated French day with a wonderful French assembly lead by Year 9s, a French lunch and for Year 6 and 7 pupils, the pleasure of attending a French play performed at Oxford High School by a professional theatre group, supported by the Annual Fund. The feedback from the year 7 students was overwhelmingly positive.
