We have a range of opportunities to explore our school, from our Whole School Open Day, to our regular Take A Look events where you can experience Oxford High School on a normal day. We also offer personal tours by appointment.

Once you decide that Oxford High School is the school for your daughter, you will need to complete the application form by the application deadline.

Our main Senior School intakes are at Year 7 and Year 9 and details of the application deadlines for each year group are outlined below.

If you would like to make an application for another year group, please email us and we can advise if there is a place available prior to completing your application.

We do accept applications outside the usual admissions deadlines and for in-year transfers, subject to availabilty within the appropriate year group. Please contact our Admissions Team to confirm availability and arrange a visit to the school.

Once your application has been submitted, your daughter will be invited to join us for an Experience Day where she will have the opportunity to experience some taster lessons, sit her entrance assessments and meet her fellow classmates.

Your daughter will also have the opportunity to meet with our Head to explore her interests, aspirations, and what she’s most curious or excited about as she looks ahead to her journey at Oxford High School.

We send details of outcomes to you following the assessment days. For girls joining us in Year 7 and Year 12, outcome letters are sent out to families in December. For girls joining us in Year 9, the letters are sent in March.

All pupils who have accepted their offers are invited to our New Joiners Day. This is an opportunity to make new friends and meet their Form Tutors while getting to know the school and find out more about what will happen in September. This takes place in June.
