We have a range of opportunities to explore our school. These range from our virtual ‘Getting to Know Us’ where you can meet the Head and discover more about Oxford High Prep, our Reception ‘Stay and Play’ mornings, or our ‘Whole School Open Mornings’ where you can experience the school on a normal day. We also offer personal tours by appointment.

Once you decide that Oxford High School is the one for your daughter, you need to complete the application form.

Assessments for Reception entry (4+)

For entry to Reception, you will be invited to join us in January 2027 when we will spend time with your daughter getting to know her as part of a playgroup session.

Assessments for Year 1-6

Following your application, your daughter will be invited to spend some time at the school. This visit will give us the opportunity to get to know her, while she can meet some new friends and experience a day at Oxford High Prep School.

We send outcomes following the assessment days.

For girls joining us in Reception, outcome letters are sent out to families in early February. Families are asked to confirm acceptance of their place by the end of February, prior to joining in September.

All pupils who will be joining Oxford High Prep School will be invited to our Welcome Morning to meet the class teacher and staff team.

This is also a chance for you to find out about the exciting things your daughter will be doing and meet other parents. This event takes place in June.
