The GDST have recently announced the launch of a new financial award for young alumnae, which in 2015 will go to an alumna forging a future in technology. As part of the commitment to supporting alumnae in life beyond school, the GDST have created this new award to help support alumnae with potential in particular fields who would not necessarily be able to do so without financial assistance.
This year the GDST are focusing on women in technology and encourage any alumnae aged between 18-30 who are working towards a future in this field and would benefit from financial support to apply for the award.
The award is being sponsored not just by GDST but also by alumnae and technology businesses, who are passionate about encouraging more women into the industry. The sponsors are not only donating their money but will also be part of the panel which will assess applications and decide on the winner.
