At Oxford High School, we believe in making the right match between the individual girl and the school.

We welcome applications on behalf of girls from many different educational backgrounds and schools, both independent, maintained and international. Our Year 7 intake consists of about half the girls transitioning from our Junior School and half from other schools. Of those, more than 50% come from state schools. We have a Year 9 intake from prep schools around the country and our Year 12 applicants come to us from a huge range of both independent and state schools. We offer Bursaries and Scholarships at both Senior and Sixth Form entry points.

We like to begin the admissions process with a conversation between yourself and our friendly, experienced team. Our busy Admissions Office is led by Mrs Jenny Biggs, our Director of Admissions and Executive Assistant to the Head. Jenny has had two daughters educated at Oxford High, both of whom are Oxbridge graduates. She has led our Admissions team for the last seven years and understands the many questions  you and your daughter may have. Her team is made up of Mrs Teresa Hobbs,  Admissions Registrar, who has combined her career with being a parent of two Oxford High girls herself, one now at university and one who has just gained a First Class degree, and Ms Dani Kecojevic who is a recent graduate who has worked for Oxford High for the last year. Both are highly knowledgeable on all aspects of our admissions process and are keen to help you with any queries you may have.

We always recommend a visit to see the School before a registration is made and there are many opportunities throughout the year to come and meet the staff and girls.
