Poetry please! At the Oxfordshire and Berkshire round of Poetry by Heart, Oxford High was represented by Mila from Year 10. Mila recited Craig Raine’s “A Martian Sends a Postcard Home” and an extract from Oscar Wilde’s “Ballad of Reading Gaol”. Many congratulations to Mila, who came runner up in a very strong field at Oxford’s Old Fire Station Arts Centre. The judges commented that the standard had been extremely high.
