Teachers of Chinese – The Swire Chinese Language Foundation
September 2017 or January 2018

Radley College and Oxford High School are delighted to be working with the Swire Chinese Language Foundation as part of their national scheme for the encouragement of the Chinese language.  The aim is to set up programmes in partnership with local schools which allow students from all backgrounds to learn Chinese and, over time, for these programmes to be self-sustaining.  It is a powerful and exciting vision.

We are looking for two full-time Teachers of Chinese to start in September 2017, with the primary aim to introduce Chinese as a mainstream subject to Year 7 students at our two new hub schools St. Birinus School (Didcot, Oxfordshire) and Desborough College (Maidenhead, Berkshire).

We are flexible on the start date and would consider a January start date for the right candidate. Candidates are also welcome to start before September to assist with the formulation of a robust Scheme of Work if they wish to do so.  Please indicate this in your application.

Further details, including an application form, are on the Radley College website: www.radley.org.uk/Teaching-Vacancies.  The deadline for applications is 25 June 2017.  Interviews will take place on 27 June 2017.
