Eleven of our OHS sportswomen including our sports scholars and sports leaders attended the 2016 ‘Girls go Gold’ conference at Newcastle High School. The conference was aimed at high achieving young sport women in years 10 to 13 who already play for their county in their chosen sport and who have high aspirations within their sport. The event had innovative workshops, nutrition and training advice and inspirational speakers including Rio gold medalists.
