Life at Oxford High School is busy!

Lunchtimes are full to the brim and after lessons end at 4pm, the school still buzzes with an extraordinary range of activities led by enthusiastic staff and students. With over 90 clubs on offer, there really is something for everyone, and if it doesn’t exist, we try to make it happen!

Leadership and mentoring skills are developed via Young Enterprise (we are regular National Finalists) and the Sports Leadership course. Fun activities include judo, cooking, jewellery, art, Chinese culture, Bridge, football, eco-club, French films, dissection, Korean, debating, School Magazine, code-breakers, Raspberry Pi, sailing and dance with our specialist dance coach and choreographer. Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme and Combined Army and Air Cadet Force are also very popular choices.

The Prefect team run a Clubs Fair at the start of the academic year so that all students can find out more and sign up for their chosen activities.
