Our 140th Birthday Memory Book

21 March 2016

As part of the World Book Day celebrations this year,  Year 7 took part in a Book Making Workshop with visiting artist Tamar MacLellan, whose specialism is the craft of Bookmaking. During the workshop the girls made a folded book along with a stitched A6 notebook to take home. They also wrote a special memory of their time at Oxford High. This memory has been incorporated into a large Memory Book constructed by our Year 11, 12 and 13 Art students in a workshop. Along with the Year 7 memories, the book also incorporates archive memorabilia of a bygone era, to commemorate the Oxford High School’s 140th Birthday celebrations. This fabulous piece of work was unveiled in our World Book Day Assembly and will now be on display in the library.
